Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, our driver will transfer you to your hotel to take some rest. You will have a few hours to visit Marrakech. The visit will include: the Menara gardens, a magnificent pool surrounded by flowers, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs, the museum of Dar Si Said with the best display of Berber arts and crafts, and the Bahia Palace. After that, we walk through the colorful Souks of Marrakech. Dinner & Overnight in the Riad.

After breakfast, we will go towards the High Atlas through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, along a road that climbs from the plains up to 2260 m above sea level passing through small villages, small waterfalls, through the continuously changing landscape and colors of these beautiful mountains. We can make a stop on the pass for a cup of refreshing mint tea and admire the scenery before taking the road to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, where we will arrive in time for lunch. Here we can visit the famous Kasbah, declared UNESCO World Heritage and which was the scene of films like The Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, The Legionary, The Sheltering Sky, and many others. We will visit the town of Ouarzazate, the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios movie studios, the largest and most famous in all of Africa. Then we will go through Ouarzazate, the famous Valley of Roses, and the Dades valley, reaching the Dades Gorge in time for sunset where we will stop in a very traditional and romantic hotel for dinner and overnight in the Hotel.

In the morning, after breakfast, you may take a walk through the Dades Gorges, and then take the car to drive the road of the 1000 Kasbahs, go through Tineghir village, and the Jewish Kasbah, arriving at the Todra Gorges in time for lunch, take a walk in the Gorges before taking the road to the Merzouga desert by way of Erfoud and Rissani, arriving in Merzouga before sunset. After rest, we will start off by Camel into the Erg Chebbi Dunes for an incredible and unforgettable night in a Berber tent where we will have dinner accompanied by the rhythm of drums and songs of Berbers, take the Camel Back to the Hotel for Overnight..

After breakfast, depart towards Fez. We will pass through Rissani & Erfoud, the Ziz valley. We stop for lunch in Medilt apple village. We continue the way crossing the Middle Atlas mountain and cedar forest. We pass Ifrane, a winter ski resort in a totally un-Moroccan style built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village. We reach Fez in the afternoon, dinner in a restaurant near the Blue gate, and overnight in the Riad.

After breakfast, you will begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled-in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets, and many other art objects of Morocco. You will visit mosques, including the Quaraouiyine Mosque founded in 859 by Fatima el Fihri and the Andalusian Mosque dating back to 860. Entry is not permitted for non-Muslims. You will also visit fountains, including the Nejjarine Fountain, Medersas (Koranic schools) founded as early as the 13th century, Batha Palace (now a museum of arts and traditions), Chouwara Tanneries, and Souks, including Souk Attarine, one of the liveliest in the city. After a lunch break, you will depart towards Chefchaouen, the famous blue city of Morocco in the Rif Mountains. Along the route, you will make a few stops. Dinner and overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, you will have a visit to this “cool” blue town, tucked away in the mountains. You will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Rif Mountains. Depart towards Tangier. Upon arrival in Tangier, we will drive through the historical center of the city, stopping at all of Tangier’s most important landmarks, from the medina to the modern part and the international city. We will see the king’s palace, Café Hafa, Palais Moulay Hafid, Ibn Battuta Museum, Phoenician Tombs, Souks, Monopolio, Marina. After a lunch break, we continue to the new city to Spartel Cape (West Tangier), considered the most northwesterly point of Africa, and where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean. The next stop will be the Caves of Hercules, inhabited since the Neolithic period. According to legend, the caves were once the home of Hercules. Dinner and overnight stay in Tangier.

After breakfast, we will leave Tangier towards Casablanca. Upon arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, you will be met by our driver. Depending on the arrival time, you will visit the city of Casablanca, “the white city.” The tour begins with an orientation tour through its broad avenues, followed by a stroll through the narrow streets of the medina. You will visit the United Nations Square, Place Mohammed V, the central market district, the residential district of Anfa, Boulevard of the Corniche along pools and restaurants, and the Hassan II Mosque. As the second largest mosque in the world and a beautiful work of art, it is one of the rare mosques opened to non-Muslims. At the end of the tour, we will drop you off at your hotel/riad to conclude the trip.
